Boating in Bellingham WA & the San Juan Islands

I met Gretchen on an airplane when I was headed to Alaska for work.  She was nice enough to send me some pics and pass on some information about their boating experience.  They have a dog ladder on the swim platform of their boat, but I would wonder about that with pods of killer whale passing by from time to time.  It looks like awesome boating but I have a feeling the water is still very cold in the summer?

Gretchen said she would send some more pics and add some information too.  I know Rob and friends have taken there boat to the San Juans in the past as well.

Hi there Gretchen!

Gretchen said; The boat with the doggy ladder is ours. We have two Golden Retrievers who love to swim, so it's their way to climb aboard.

Our boat is the Pretty Woman.  It’s the boat in the middle.  Seas the Day is my brother and sister-in-law's boat.  The boat on the
right is my stepson's boat, which he is trying to sell.

We were anchored out in Montegue Bay in Canada - near Ganges...one of our favorite spots.

We live on (and work off of) our boat for four months a year.  --usually the end of
May or first part of June through September. We are doing a lot of remodeling of the inside of our boat lately.

Also put a new radar arch on it. So expensive, but we do use it and enjoy it so what the heck, huh!?
