I have gone down this road with a new refrigerator that obviously looked like it
as added. This time I decided to pay what ever it cost for a new compressor so everything
would look right. I expected to pay around $800 for the repair, if that was even
possible. I called Prestige Appliances which is a family owned business off of Green
Valley Rd in El Dorado Hills, and they said bring it in. They could have easily
sold me a new compressor, but they told me it was another part. They even did another
little repair that was going to give me a problem soon, and the cost was well under
$300. Now that was a great surprise. While I’m sure not every story turns out this
well, they were quick to get the repair done, and they gave me my old parts. I know
many of you have had ice for your drinks from this ice maker, so before you buy new,

Refrigerator & Ice Maker Repair as well as home appliances. The ice maker on Dithpicable
stopped working, and I was certain it was the compressor. New ones started around
$1,100 and went up from there. Of course U-Line, the maker, changed models and of
course the sizes. So new ones would not fit the space.
